Getting to know your camera

One 2 One, just you and us

Whatever camera you have we will help you get to know the basics quickly and then onto more advanced features and you will soon be shooting like a pro and looking for things that you would have previously missed or simply been unable to photograph.

Wether your passion is photographing children or animals, weddings or flowers, we will teach you how to get the best from your camera. You might have a Canon,  Nikon, Sony or a Fuji, it simply does not matter. We have a selection of Nikon Cameras if you wish to try them for the day along with a selection of both Nikon and Canon Lenses to suit what you are looking for.

During the workshop you can expect to learn how to use your camera and lenses properly in all creative modes, learn what mode is best used for the situation as well as what each mode on your camera does.  We will teach you what to do in certain lighting conditions and how your camera plays a part in that but only if you tell it too, We will show you how to photograph fast moving things and how to do creative things like blur the backgrounds such as the first photo below and its all done in camera and not on a computer, we will also teach you how to shoot through wire and glass to produce amazing photographs.  After you have started to master your camera we will teach you how to start editing and storing your photographs properly and you will leave us with your own fully edited photographs just like these below from our students.

The cost for a full day  shooting and editing is only  £400.00 inclusive, and is held part of the day in our air conditioned studio in Southampton and part out and about at such places at Marwell and Mottisont Abbey and Beaulieu motor museum where there are numerous photo opportunities and are taylored to your liking.

You can bring a non photo taking  friend  or partner along to the day for an extra £50.00 or a shooting friend for £200.00,  thats amazing value and only works out at £300.00 each inclusive.

We also offer this course in a half day for £250.00 or £400.00 for you and a friend.

All entrance fees, refreshments and lunch (full day course) are included as well as handouts and brochures.

Pay your deposit or buy a GIFT VOUCHER here

Below are some photographs taken by our students on this workshop, there are many more on the homepage that get updated after every course, tell us about your passion and we will tailor the day to suit if possible.
